The Sussex Thunder are a progressive American Football organisation based in Crawley, West Sussex. Our senior team currently play in the British American Football League (BAFL) Division 2 and we have a thriving Junior and Youth set-up. We are are always on the lookout for committed individuals to help the team achieve its goals. Our seniors are a competitive team, posting a record of 21 wins and 11 defeats since returning to league action in 2003, including an appearance in the Southern Conference Final in 2004. We featured Division 2's leading wide receiver in 2003 and the leading running back in 2004. This year we are planning to take the next step and gain promotion to Division 1A.

Our Junior and Youth teams have been nothing short of a revelation, rising from humble beginnings to dominant tournament performers in a short space of time. We will never turn away any player regardless of background. However those with a dedication to practice and a willingness to learn will start with a distinct advantage. The club also encourages non-playing volunteers to get involved with the club. From gameday management to first aid, there are always something that an extra pair of hands can help with.
