^Sedles Cottage

Sedlescombe is a village and civil parish in the Rother area of East Sussex, England. The village is located seven miles north of Hastings. The nearby village traces its roots back to the Roman times, the oldest house in the village Asselton House was formerly known as Asselton Bath and is reputed to be on the site of a Roman bathhouse.

Sedlecombe is in the southeastern part of the the county of sussex, Sedlescombe golf course is just 1 mile away from the cottage.
Hastings is only 7 miles away, the town of Bexhill is about 10 miles away. The beach at Camber Sands is 20 miles and the town of Brighton is 40 miles.
The nearest major airport is London Gatwick, it is roughtly 1 hour 15 mins from the cottage in Sedlescombe, here you can hire a car for the day or for the duration of your stay at the cottage. Public transport is good in the main towns, however as the cottage is not so close to the main places it would be advised to book car hire Gatwick, in return this gives you a better chance to view the local area and historic locations.
